Building A Foundation For Pillars
When the Pillars Of Lakewood needed to update their website – http://pillarsoflakewood.org/ – they turned to FastWebUpdate.com to get the job done. The organization is a division of the Lakewood (Ohio) Chamber of Commerce which is focused on people between the ages of 20 – 40 who live, work or have business interests in the city of Lakewood.
The previous site was written on an antiquated platform which was very tedious to update. FastWebUpdates.com implemented a system which allows Pillars staff to update the website quickly and easily with no web programming (HTML) knowledge. Additionally, with the new site, content creation and entry can now be distributed to various members of the staff avoiding potential organizational bottlenecks.
Functionality/features of the new site include:
- Customized content management system (CMS)
- Search engine optimized (SEO) pages for increased search engine visibility
- Events calendar for an at-a-glance look at all available events
- Newsletter (Constant Contact) direct integration
- Integration with the Pillars Facebook page
- Social media sharing capabilities (Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Email, Google +1)
We are extremely excited to be a part of the Pillars of Lakewood web and marketing team!
